Highlights: Begin the day with an active outdoor experience in the Aniene River Valley, such as kayaking or a guided soft-adventure river activity, depending on season, water levels, and operator availability. Continue with a World War II battleground historical briefing, explaining the destruction of the abbey and its later reconstruction.
