• From Zurich, you’ll take a half-day excursion to Rapperswil, the “Town of Roses.” Here, the fairy-tale setting of the Christkindlimärt unfolds with stalls lining the castle square and lakeside promenade. Mulled wine and seasonal pastries enhance the charm, before returning to Zurich for a cozy evening.

• Important remarks:
  • Christmas markets in Zurich, Lucerne, and Rapperswil are only open during Advent, typically from late November to December 23. This itinerary is therefore a Christmas-themed journey. To include New Year’s Eve celebrations, the stay must be extended into January.
  • Guests who extend over December 24, 25, or 26 may also enjoy pre-arranged festive Christmas dinners in Zurich or in mountain towns, subject to availability.
  • Activities such as sledging, tubing, or the torchlight walk are weather-dependent and may vary. Some activities may be exchanged with suitable substitutes depending on availability.
  • Extensions can be arranged: enjoy New Year’s Eve fireworks over Lake Zurich or celebrate in a mountain town for a magical alpine start to the year—just let us know.
